EASY CHOCOLATE COOKIES

I’m not much of a cook, but some time ago, watching one of Lily Pebbles’ videos, I thought there might actually be a chance for me to make something eatable . These cookies are rather amazing – light and sweet and as easy to prepare as it gets - so if you’re interested keep reading!

This recipe makes 70 – 80 cookies, and here is what you’ll  need:
Z tego przepisu wychodzi ok. 70 – 80 ciasteczek, a poniżej macie składniki:
85g cocoa powder / 85g kakao do pieczenia
400g sugar / 400 g cukru
125ml vegetable oil / 125 ml oleju
4 eggs / 4 jajka
2 teaspoons vanilla extract / 2 łyżeczki ekstraktu waniliowego
250g plain flour / 250 g mąki
2 teaspoons baking powder/ 2 łyżeczki proszku do pieczenia
1/2 teaspoon salt / pół łyżeczki soli
icing sugar / cukier-puder

In a bowl mix together the cocoa, caster sugar and vegetable oil. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
In another bowl combine the flour, baking powder and salt; stir into the cocoa mixture – optionally you can use a sieve whilst pouring the four – it makes the cookies more fluffy and light. Cover dough, and leave it for at least 1 hours in the fridge.
W dużej misce wymieszajcie kakao, cukier I olej. Mieszając, wbijajcie po  jednym jajku. Pamiętajcie również, żeby dodać ekstrakt waniliowy. W drugiej misce wymieszajcie mąkę, proszek do pieczenia i sól, a następnie stopniowo wsypujcie do pierwszej miski z masą kakaową – ciągle miksując ciasto.

Preheat oven to 180 °C. Line baking trays with baking paper.
Ustawcie piec na 180 C I przygotujcie tace na ciasteczka – wystarczy wyłożyć je zwykłym papierem do pieczenia.
Pour icing sugar onto a plate and using a metal tablespoon, spoon and roll mixture into 2.5cm balls and then roll them on the plate of icing sugar until they fully coated.

Bake in preheated oven for 10-12 minutes. Let them stand on the baking tray for a minute before transferring to a plate to cool.

I have only 2 baking trays, so I need two round of baking for all the dough. You should also remember to always check if the cookies are ready: use a wooden stick and stick it into the cake, if it comes out clean – the cake is ready.

Let me know if you bake [and how you liked it] and what other simple, but tasty recipes you'd recommend!

KISSES,

    1. I don't like baking either, but these cookies don't actually count as baking for me - its more like eating cookie dough whilst doing some other small things like mixing ingredients, forming the balls, heating the stove, etc ;)

    1. When I saw them in Lily's video I didn't think I'd ever make them, but this recipe proved really handy when you have some event, where you need to bring food, coming soon - these cookies are really easy, but when you show up with them it makes you seem like you're an expert confectioner!
