BEST SPRING/SUMMER FOUNDATIONS

As the spring has finally got here and there’s summer just around the corner I I took a gander through my collection to find  something perfect for this warmer time. Without a second thought I went for  Bourjois – 3 slightly different products I reach for in the summer time depending on how much coverage I need and what effect I want to achieve.
Wiosna nareszcie do nas zawitała – ciepłe dni, lżejsze ubrania i lżejsze kosmetyki.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation
For days when my skin is a little bit on the dry side I use Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation. It feels light on the skin, but evens everything out and because of it’s unique ‘gel’ texture it glides over any dry patches on my skin. It leaves a dewy finish that looks really natural. Some people may need to apply a bit of powder, but I love the natural finish it gives!

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation
Similar one is regular Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation. The only difference is in the texture. This is more of liquidy formula but still rather thick – like the serum version. It also give a tiny bit more coverage and all the shades are a bit darker then the serum equivalents.
Both of them smell really nice– they’ve got lots of fruit in it like goji berries and pomegranate. Bourjois foundations in general lean more towards the yellow side and this shade 52 is literally perfect for my complexion in the middle of the summer, I also have the lightest one [51] which is great for the spring, when I can finally catch a bit of sun and stop looking pasty white. Another advantage is the packaging – it’s good quality, shows the colour and  - the most important - has a pump.

Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream
Slightly Different option can be the Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream. I know you all probably have enough of bb- cc- dd- ect. Cream, but this one is really worth mentioning. I gave it a go last summer, joust because all my favorite youtubers were raving about it and I wasn’t disappointed. The idea of this ‘CC’ cream is to colour correct with the help of 3 different pigments; apricot for anti-fatigue, green for anti-redness and white for anti-dark spots. As a really pale skinned girl I chose the lightest shade - 31 Ivory which is a good match for the warmer months for me.It’s light, runny formula, which gives you little more coverage and leaves the skin more on the mat side then the healthy mix foundations, so if you’re skin can get a bit oily sometimes this would be good match for you.

So those are my top 3 drugstore foundations for spring/summer! Let me know in the comments below what your favorites are and if you have any recommendations I’d love to hear them!

KISSES,

  1. I loooove the formula of Healthy mix serum. Unfortunately the lightest shade I have found in my country is 53, which is kind of ridiculous!

  8. Healthy Mix was my first foundation ever! I stopped using it because the shade is for some reason no longer a match, but the formula is pretty good :) For the moment, I keep reaching for Dior Diorskin Nude Air and Guerlain Meteorites Baby Glow. They are both lighter formulas that just feel more comfortable in this warm weather (not complaining about it)!

    1. It was the first foundation I got too ;) And it's still quite good match, though I can use it only during the summer thanks to my paler and paler face ;) As for the Diorskin one - I've been eyeing it for some time now, but it's still out of my price range..
